Features/Benefits

Flexible

• The Tru-Incise valvulotome allows the surgeon the flexibility of exchanging heads pre-proximal anastomosis and disrupting the valves with hydrostatic pressure, or
• Introducing a single head from the distal end of the vein post-proximal anastomosis allowing the use of arterial flow for valve activation

Safe

• The Tru-Incise valvulotome allows the surgeon the ability to select the appropriate sized cutting head to fit the I.D. of the vein thereby preventing undue stress and potential damage to the intimal wall
• The leader bulb/cutter head spacing is designed to prevent the vein wall from collapsing into the cutter head during cutter head advancement and retrograde valve disruption
• The four angled blades are designed to engage the valve leaflet tissue while protecting the intimal wall
• The electropolished stainless steel heads offer a smooth lubricious surface

Effective

• The Tru-Incise valvulotome can be moved freely up or down the vein during the valve disruption process allowing multiple passes at each valve site without removing the device
• With the 360° cutting edge and four angled blades the device does not have to be turned or manipulated during the valve disruption process
• The availability of three different sized cutting heads allows for effective valve disruption even in the smallest sized vein, from in excess of 4mm I.D. down to 2mm and less
